Your Role
You will be responsible for the strategic development and coordination of our standard products as well as the implementation of customer-specific projects.
In this role, you will also support the technical and conceptual management of our ongoing research and development (R&D) projects.
Acting as a key interface between customers, internal development teams, and external project partners, you combine strong technical expertise with organizational and coordination skills.
Your Responsibilities
Lead product management in the field of DevOps & Edge Cloud
Coordinate architecture and design decisions together with our technical leads
Manage customer projects: Requirements analysis, technical alignment, customer meetings, and reporting
Manage research projects: Work on technical implementation tasks for the development team and technical content and reporting for R&D research grants:
Report to funding authorities
Write new research applications and applications
Extend existing research projects
Guide funding authorities through project audits
Support internal teams with R&D funding questions
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal DevOps processes
Your Profile
Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, application deployment in Kubernetes (K8s), Linux and networking (e.g. iproute2, nftables) –
This includes system level usage, configuration and experience
You will be expected to engage in technical discussions, understand system architecture, and determine their scope
Experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or Technical PM (ideally in a DevOps or cloud environment)
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, proven stakeholder management experience
Documentation and reporting: Precise, audit-ready writing and documentation capabilities (e.g. project reports, progress and status reports, new applications)
Language skills: Excellent German and English skills (verbal and written)
Preferred: Experience with software development (any language), CI/CD, secure development
Preferred: Experience with ML, AI or data driven pipelines
Preferred: Experience with Austrian national (FFG) or EU research projects
Preferred: Degree in computer science, information systems, or comparable practical experience
